Peter Thompson's scholarly interests lie in finance, probability and statistics and he has been teaching courses in these areas at Wabash College since 1997. In 2010, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science added the Financial Mathematics Track to the major.
Outside of Wabash, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Michele, four children Jennifer, Robert, Rachel, and Brian, daughter-in-law Sandi, son-in-laws Seth and John, and grandchildren Elizabeth, Evelyn, Michael, Emma, Abigail and Faye.
