Political Science - Off-Campus Study

Students studied the European Union in Strasbourg

Up to a quarter of Wabash political science majors participate in an off-campus program during their junior year. During the last several years they have enrolled in programs abroad in London, Paris, and Moscow and in Scotland, Costa Rica, Argentina, Malta, Denmark, Ireland, Australia, and Italy. Students in these programs have the opportunity to study politics from a comparative perspective and to exchange views about politics with students from many other parts of the world. In addition, political science majors regularly participate in the American University Washington Semester program which includes as a regular part of the curriculum an internship in one of the branches of the national government, with a media outlet, or an interest group.
