Biology - Alumni

Prof. Brooks

The majority of our students go on to advanced degrees, especially the M.D. and Ph.D. Wabash is attractive to many students because of the history of post-graduate success of our majors. While many graduates change career goals, either from biology to other fields, or within biology from medicine to research, our program is designed to prepare the student for advanced work. We feel, however, that our program is just as valuable and appropriate for students who do not plan to take additional training in biology. Over the past 20 years, our graduates have pursued the following activities after graduation:

  • Graduate School 17.7%
  • Medical School 31.4%
  • Dental School 9.1%
  • Other Health Programs 6.5%
  • Related Fields 8.2%
  • Secondary Education 3.0%
  • Other 24.0%
