Rush 2009 has begun!  Visit our Rush page to get all of the details.

The brothers of Kappa Sigma at Wabash College, Alpha-Pi Chapter, welcome you to Wabash College.  We’ve been at Wabash since 1895 and are proud of our Chapter and our Brotherhood.  Coming to Wabash and the decision to rush Kappa Sigma was one of the most formative decisions of every one of our lives.  We found something great at the Kappa Sigma house, and we believe you will too.

Kappa Sigs are involved in…

Student Government: For two straight years, Kappa Sigma has the largest delegation to the Student Senate.  For the third year in a row, one of the officers of the Senate is a Kappa Sig (Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary over the past three years).  For two years in a row the chairman of the Election Commission has been a Kappa Sigma.

The Arts: More members of the Glee Club come from Kappa Sigma than any other living unit.  Not surprisingly, for three years in a row the president of the Glee Club has been a Kappa Sig, and a quarter of the members of the Glee Club’s elite a cappella ensemble, the T-tones, are Kappa Sigs.  Kappa Sigs are highly involved in the Wabash College Theatre directing, stage managing, doing technical direction, and starring in productions.  Kappa Sigs also play in the Jazz Band, Brass Ensemble, Orchestra, and Pep Band.

Student Life: Kappa Sigs comprise over half of the competing members of the Speech and Debate team, winning a national championship in 2007 and 2008.  Kappa Sigs serve as the Program Director for the Wabash radio station (WNDY), founders of the Brew Society and Cigar and Pipe Club, Spirituality Director for the Newman Center, president of Students for Sustainability, and various other positions.

Athletics: Kappa Sigs currently play on the Cross Country, Track and Wrestling teams.  The number one runner for the Cross Country team is a Kappa Sig.
