Summer Institute

WLAIP Housing, Meals, and Money | WLAIP

Housing

Students will live on-campus in a dorm during the Institute. Specific accommodations will vary, but most students will share a bedroom, study space, and bathroom with another WLAIP student. Students will be assigned to their dorm rooms. If students have preferences for a particular student with whom they would like to live during July, Program staff will try to honor those requests. Preferences can be sent to hortonr@wabash.edu.

Meals

All meals will be provided by the College's dining service, Bon Appetit. The meal plan includes 19 meals per week (three meals per day on weekdays, and brunch and dinner on weekends). There will also be occasional meals off-campus. The cost of these meals is covered by the College.

Spending Money

All food, transportation, course supplies, and other needs will be taken care of by the College. However, we do recommend a small amount of spending money so that students can buy occasional snacks and incidentals. There is no magic number for spending money, but we would imagine that $100 would be plenty. If students want merchandise from the College bookstore or would like to stop by the on campus coffee shop, 1832 Brew, we would recommend additional spending to cover these costs.
