Play at Wabash

We bring our A-Game to everything we do. As one of our coaches said, "We offer a Big10 atmosphere on a smaller, academic campus. Most places are afraid of that athletic energy. We embrace it." The difference is, at Wabash, intense athletic spirit is never at the expense of your education. And while on the surface it might seem like our school spirit comes from athletics, if you go to a play, or a Glee Club performance, you feel it just as strongly.

At Wabash you can get involved in one of our 12 varsity level sports or one of seven intramural and club sports. In addition, you can participate in five different music ensembles, take private lessons, get involved in theater—onstage or off, or take advantage of our many fine arts events. We also have more than 70 student clubs and organizations from special interest to service, from academics to just plain fun. And if by some chance you don't find a club or organization you are interested in, grab some friends, ask Student Senate for some funding, and start your own!

When you aren't in class or involved on campus, explore our scenic trails, wander downtown for taquerias, coffee bars, farm-to table-restaurants, art, shopping, and museums, or head to one of two state parks within 30 minutes of campus. Want to see the Colts, Pacers, Indians, Fuel, or Eleven play? Indianapolis is just 45 minutes from campus. Or satisfy even bigger city cravings in Chicago just three hours north.
