Dr. John Sloop, Senior Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Science and Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Vanderbilt University will present "It's Not Natural": Caster Semenya and the Race of Gender." A reception will follow his talk in the lobby of Baxter.

Wabash College Professor Marc Hudson will be reading from his own work, a collection of old favorites and newer poems, in celebration of Earth Day 40.

8-9:30 p.m., Art Exhibit Opening of 2010 Senior Art Majors, Eric Dean Gallery, Fine Arts Center
The Art Department will present the work of six senior art majors. The artists include Miguel Aguilar (paintings), Juan Diaz (paintings), Korey Pazour (paintings), David Rosborough (painted constructions), Michael Scott (painting/installation), and Dan Sutton (photography/video). The 2010 Senior Art Majors Exhibition will be on display in the Eric Dean Gallery and will run from April 19 through May 16 with a public reception 8-9:30 p.m., Monday, April 19.
