The Class of 2026 Commencement Speakers

Precious Onoisetale Ainabor majored in biochemistry with a minor in theater. Ainabor was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta, the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies, Global Health Initiative, Public Health Organization, Soccer Club, and The Bachelor. He also served as a biochemistry researcher for three years, presenting his research at conferences in Washington, D.C., and Chicago. Ainabor received the Lloyd B. and Ione Howell Scholarship Award, the Underwood Award, the Kenneth W. Kloth Design and Technical Theater Award, was inducted into the Hovey Honorary Chemical Society, and was named Outstanding Senior Organic Chemistry Student by the American Chemical Society Division of Organic Chemistry. He was also selected to attend the Global Liberal Arts Alliance Leaders Across Borders program in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland. At Wabash, he designed and oversaw the costume wardrobes for every theater production since his freshman year, while designing his own fashion collections. Ainabor plans to attend medical school. He is the son of Augustine and Florence Ainabor and is originally from Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria.

Quinn A. Sholar Jr. majored in art and economics. Sholar served as a two-time chairman of the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies and previously as community service chair. He was a member of the Sphinx Club, Student-Athletic Advisory Council, and Sons of Wabash. He serves as a class agent. Sholar was a captain of the football and track and field teams. He earned first team all-conference and All-America honors in both and was named Freshman of the Year in football and NCAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year twice. He was a three-time academic All-American and an NCAC All-Decade Team (2012-23) selection for track and field, a two-time academic all-district selection in football, was a national qualifier in multiple throwing events, and holds school records in shot put and weight throw. Sholar was the recipient of the David B. Greene Award for Distinguished Work in Art History, the Pete Vaughan Outstanding Athlete Award, the Malcolm X Institute Service Award, and the Senior Award of Merit. He has been named an Orr Fellow and will begin working with Mind Trust, an Indianapolis non-profit focused on improving public education. He is the son of Quinn Sholar I and Ashaki Sholar and is from Indianapolis.
