Freak Shows appeared. Mortuaries were the place to go for date night. Addressing the above topics and many more, HIS 231 explores the social and cultural history of 19th century Europe from 1789 to the turn of the 20th century. With short papers and two exams, it is suitable for all students who need a history credit or distribution credit.
