Little Giants Explode at the Plate in Doubleheader Victories

The Wabash College baseball team exploded for 40 hits in two games, sweeping a doubleheader in the first day of the Denison-Kenyon Baseball Classic at Gambier, OH. Wabash opened with a 20-8 win over Capital before handing the Kenyon College Lords a 13-4 defeat in the nightcap.

The Little Giants pounded out 40 hits in the two games.

"We had a great week of practice," said coach Tom Flynn. "It translated to our play on the field today. We played exceptional baseball."

The Little Giants are 5-7 for the season with the wins. Wabash will continue to play in the Classic on Saturday, facing Transylvania and Denison.
