Wabash College was named one of the Best Colleges in America in Money magazine’s 2023 analysis of more than 700 colleges and universities nationwide.
In identifying colleges that combine quality and affordability, Money analyzed 26 data points in three categories, including graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid, and alumni salaries in developing a star-based ratings system. Wabash received four and a half stars out of five.
In writing about the Wabash benefits, Money mentioned that the College features small class sizes, a low student-faculty ratio, easy access to professors, dual-degree opportunities, a wealth of student clubs and organizations, strong financial aid, and the Gentleman’s Rule.
Money’s star-based ratings system recognizes that there are multiple ways for a school to provide value, and determining a “best” college depends upon the goals and priorities of the individual student. Money has been ranking colleges and universities since 2014.
Earlier this month, Wabash was listed in the 2024 edition of the Fiske Guide to Colleges as one of the best and most interesting colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and Ireland.
