CHE 111 General Chemistry
The introductory course for science concentrators. Topics include atomic
theory, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, equilibrium, gas laws, states of
matter, solutions, atomic structure, and acid/base chemistry. The
laboratory, which emphasizes the basic principles discussed in lecture,
includes significant synthetic and analytical work. Three lectures and one
laboratory each week.
