MAT 331 Abstract Algebra I
Advanced — A first course in higher abstract mathematics. Emphasis is placed on writing proofs. Topics include groups, rings, fields, and modules. This course is offered in the spring semester, 2007-2008 and alternate years.
Prerequisite: Mathematics 223 or consent of the instructor.
