ART 123 Ceramics
An introduction to the basic techniques of clay. The course will investigate the methods and aesthetics of ceramics, both functional ware and sculptural form. The course will also explore the historical perception of pottery and the contemporary uses of clay as a sculptural medium. This course is offered in both fall and spring semesters, 2007-2008.
