PSY 497 Senior Seminar
The Senior Seminar in Psychology has a number of goals in the service of providing students with a capstone experience in the major and helping them prepare for Comprehensive Exams. The goal of an historical grounding in the field is accomplished by careful reading and discussion of classic texts. The goal of exploring a new area of psychology, in 2007-2008, will be accomplished by learning about Positive Psychology and completing a research project related to that topic. The goal of completing an intensive literature review is accomplished by each student's writing a paper over an area of psychology chosen by that student. This course is offered in the fall semester 2007.
Prerequisite: Senior standing as a psychology major or minor.
