This was the first time the Bowling Green area of Kentucky has participated in the WABASH day. With only four alumni living in the area a turnout of fifty percent was pretty impressive.
Mike Heighway '08, Matt Ripley '06, and, Matt's wife, Kara Ripley, all participated by helping at the Warren County Public Library where Kara is a librarian. We cleaned and disinfected easy reader books to help keep the flu virus in check in the area schools.
Afterward we went to a Bowling Green favorite, El Mazatlan, where we enjoyed Wabash camaraderie and good food.
