Description: | This is a 2nd half semester course. An exploration of analytical methods and instrumentation through independent laboratory-based research projects. Instrumentation theory, design, and function will be discussed in relation to the independent projects, together with relevant principles in data acquisition and analysis. Topics may include HPLC-MS and analytical optical spectroscopies, among others. Two meetings per weekfor the second half of the semester, with an emphasis on laboratory work. |
