Senior Jared Smit (Lafayette, IN/Central Catholic) has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Track and Field Runner of the Week for the period ending March 31.
Smit earned the honor after reaching the NCAA Division III Championship provisional qualifying mark in the 10,000-meter run at the Gerald England Invitational in Indianapolis on Saturday. Smit took third place in the event with a time of 31:36.02.
