Little Giant Netters Take Fourth Straight with 4-3 Win at Hanover

The Wabash tennis team won its fourth consecutive match and its ninth of the season with a 4-3 victory at Hanover College on Saturday.

The Little Giants swept the top three singles matches, opening with a 6-4, 6-0 win at number one singles by sophomore Mike Lynch (Evansville, IN/Evansville North). Junior Scott Paramoure (New Brownfels, TX/New Brownfels) was a 7-6 (3), 6-2 winner at number two singles for Wabash, while senior Daniel Altman (Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) took a 6-2, 6-3 victory in the number three singles match. Sophomore Hadi Motiee (Muncie, IN/Muncie Burris) won the fourth point in single play for Wabash. He was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at number five singles.

Altman and sophomore Cameron Starnes (Crawfordsville, IN/Crawfordsville) combined for the only victory in double play for Wabash, an 8-6 win at number two doubles.

Wabash 9-3 for the year.
