Wabash Wrestlers Fall to Fifth-Ranked Chicago

The Wabash wrestling team traveled to Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday night to compete against the University of Chicago, ranked fifth in the latest National Wrestling Coaches Association poll. The Little Giants lost to Chicago by a final score of 46-24.

Freshman Chris Healy (Jasper, IN/Jasper) and junior Joe Scanlon (Lafayette, IN/McCutcheon) were individual winners for the Little Giants. Healy pinned Chicago's Nate Hoffberg at the 3:07 mark in the 174-pound weight class. Scanlon also pinned his opponent, winning at the 2:49 mark of the 285-pound class.

Wabash will participate in the Augustana Invitational at Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday, January 19.
