Wabash Wrestlers Participate in the Midwest Classic

The Wabash College wrestling team particpated in the Midwest Classic Wrestling Tournament over the weekend. The 18-team tournament was hosted by the University of Indianapolis. The Little Giants finished 18th, earning one team point.

Freshman Phu Hong (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence Central) and junior Logan Kuhne (Ft. Wayne, IN/Northrop) earned the only victories of the tournament for the Little Giants. Hong won his first match in the consolation bracket at 125 pounds, a 6-1 decision over Antwan Allen of Carson-Newman. Kuhne took an 11-4 decision in the consolation round of the 184-pound weight class.

Wabash will wrestle at the University of Chicago on Thursday, January 10 at 7 p.m.
