Knott Named Conference Offensive Player of the Week

Wabash junior quarterback Jake Knott (Lafayette, IN/Jefferson) has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending October 27, 2001.

Knott earned the honor after throwing for 374 yards (21-44) and five touchdowns in a 41-20 win against Allegheny on Saturday. The win was the fifth in a row for the Little Giants. He was the leading rusher for the Little Giants in the game, carrying the ball 11 times for 56 yards and one TD.

Knott is currently 140 yards away from passing Chris Ings ’96 for the Wabash career passing yardage record.
