Soccer Takes 2-1 Win in Season Finale

The Wabash soccer team ended the season with a 2-1 victory at Oberlin on Saturday.

Sophomore Brandon Hall (Boise, ID/Capital) scored the first Little Giant goal and his first of the season in the first half to put Wabash in front 1-0. Freshman forward Tom Reifengerg(Ft. Wayne, IN/Bishop Dwenger) added his second goal of the season, scoring the deciding goal midway through the second half to give Wabash a 2-0 lead before Oberlin answered with a goal in the final minutes of the match.

Goalie Graham Bailey (Evansville, IN/North) went the distance for Wabash, stopping five shots to earn the victory.

Wabash finishes the season with a 5-8-2 overall record, 3-5-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.
