Aguirre Named Conference Player of the Week

Junior forward Carlos Aguirre (Indianapolis, IN/Ben Davis) has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the period ending October 7th.

Aguirre led the Little Giant team to a 2-1 record for the week with a 2-0 win over Hiram and a 3-2 Homecoming victory against Wooster on Saturday. Aguirre scored two goals in the win over Wooster and scored four goals in the three contests this week. He leads the Wabash team in scoring with nine goals and two assists and is second in the NCAC with a 1.82 point-per-game average. He has scored six goals in his last seven games, and has a point in seven of the last eight contests. Aguirre has helped the Little Giants to a 2-2-1 record in the NCAC and fourth place in the latest conference standings.

Aguirre is the son of Juan Aguirre and Koot Patterson.
