Three Little Giants Named to All-Conference Baseball Team

Wabash College baseball players Matt Carlson (Crawfordsville, IN/Crawfordsville), Josh Stanton (Mooresville, IN/Mooresville), and Jake Martin (Rushville, IN/Rushville) have been named members of the All-North Coast Athletic Conference baseball team.

Carlson, a sophomore shortstop and second baseman for the Little Giants, earned a Second Team All-Conference spot after leading the team in hits (48), runs scored (44), triples (3), slugging percentage (.523), and stolen bases (14). Carlson finished second in batting for Wabash with a .364 average. His three triples tied for the second-highest total in the conference this season.

Sophomores Stanton and Martin were both Honorable Mention All-Conference selections. Stanton led Wabash in batting with a .373 average. He had a team-best 39 RBIs, and tied for the team lead in doubles with 10.

Martin earned his spot on the team as an outfielder, finishing with the fourth-best average for Wabash (.356) this season. He was second on the team in on-base percentage (.450) and was ninth in the conference in walks (21).
