Golf Team Sixth at Conference Championships

The Wabash College golf team finished sixth out of eight teams at the 2001 North Coast Athletic Conference Golf Championship at the Sugar Bush Golf Club in Garrettsville, OH.

The Little Giants finished with a total of 672 strokes, just five strokes behind the College of Wooster.

Joe Mills (Lafayette, IN/Central Catholic) was the top finisher for Wabash. Mills shot a two-day total of 164 to finish in 12th place in the individual standings. Adam Berry (Evansville, IN/Reitz Memorial) shot a 167, Caleb Selby (Crawfordsville, IN/Southmont) fired a 170, Rob McCourt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) finished with a 171, and James Lisher (Shelbyville, IN/Indiana Academy) shot a 172.

The Little Giants will finish their season on Sunday, May 6 at the Brickyard Crossing in Indianapolis in the Giant-Engineer Match Play Classic against Rose-Hulman.
