Track Coach Rob Johnson and Dean of Students Tom Bambrey led a victory lap to formally open the Fieldhouse in the Allen Athletics and Recreation Center. The Knowling Fieldhouse features a six-lane, 200-meter indoor track; four multipurpose courts; elevated batting cages for basketball and elevated driving cages for golfers.
All of these items were put to use on Tuesday as the track and field, baseball, and golf teams all practiced in the facility while students played pickup basketball at the same time.
