The Wabash College golf team fired a 319 in the opening round of the Manchester Invitational to tie for seventh place in the team standings with one round remaining on Saturday.

Only six points separate the Little Giants from second place, as three of the Wabash linksters shot in the 70's.

Rob McCourt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) and Adam Berry (Evansville, IN/Reitz Memorial) led Wabash with 78's in the first round. Freshman Caleb Selby (Crawfordsville, IN/Southmont) was one stroke behind with a 79 through the first 18 holes.
