Stanton Earns Conference Honor

Wabash College sophomore Josh Stanton (Mooresville, IN/Mooresville) has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending March 23.

Stanton hit .566 for the week, going 10-for-18 from the plate. He had 12 RBIs and four doubles to lead Wabash to a 3-1 record at the Denison-Kenyon Baseball Classic. The Little Giant third baseman leads the team witha .460 batting average, 24 RBIs, and a .700 slugging percentage.

"I'm pleased that Josh has received this honor," said Wabash baseball coach Tom Flynn. "He worked very hard during the preseason to improve his swing, and that's lead to the success he's having at the plate this season."
