Golf Team Opens with Fourth at Blackburn

The Wabash College golf team opened the 2001 season with a fourth-place finish at the Blackburn College Invitational on Tuesday.

Wabash shot a team-total of 334 in the eight-team match. Sophomore Adam Berry (Evansville, IN/Reitz Memorial) tied for third, firing a 76 that put him just four strokes away from first place. Freshman Caleb Selby (Crawfordsville, IN/Southmont) shot an 85 for the Little Giants. Chris Miltenberger (West Chester, OH/Lakota West) fired an 86, while Joe Mills (Lafayette, IN/Central Catholic) had an 87. Rob McCourt (Greenwood, IN/Greenwood) finished the scoring for the Little Giants with an 88.

Wabash will travel to Seymour, IN to play in the Hanover College Invitational at Shadowwood Golf Course on Sunday and Monday.
