The Little Giants swept the doubles matches as Mike Lynch (Evansville, IN/Evansville North) and Scott Paramoure (Bath, PA/New Brownfels-Logansport) combined for an 8-3 win at number one doubles. Andrew Shelton (Indianapolis, IN/North Central) and Constantine Alexander (Kokomo, IN/Kokomo) took an 8-0 sweep at number two doubles, and Daniel Altman (Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) and Klint Schwenk (Jasper, IN/Jasper) finished the sweep with an 8-1 win at number three doubles.
Lynch took a 6-3, 7-5 win at number one singles, as did Alexander (6-1, 6-1). Paramoure lost only one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win at number three singles, and Shelton continued the winning streak with a 6-1, 6-2 win at number four singles. Altman and Schwenk finished the match with wins. Altman took a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number five singles, while Schwenk was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at number six singles.
The win on Sunday capped a successful week in Haines City, Florida that saw the Little Giants take a 5-2 victory over King College and an 8-1 win over the University of Findlay. Alexander went 2-0 at number two singles on the spring break trip,as did Altman at number five singles.
The Little Giants will continue their season on Wednesday afternoon with a 4 p.m. match at Rose-Hulman in Terre Haute.
