Little Giants Drop Final Regular Season Game at Kenyon

The Wabash basketball team controlled its own destiny on Saturday afternoon. The Little Giants could not seize the opportunity, losing to Kenyon 82-73.

Wabash lost the nine-point decision despite a career-high 20 points from freshman guard Matt Storm (Anderson, IN/Lapel) and a 6-0 Wabash run to open the second half. Kenyon forced 17 Little Giant turnovers in the game, scoring 25 points off of the Wabash miscues. The Lords' bench provided a boost in the game as well, outscoring Wabash 38-11.

The loss puts the Little Giants (11-13, 9-7) fifth in the final NCAC standings, sending Wabash to Ohio Wesleyan for the opening round of the NCAC Basketball Tournament on Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
