CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN —The Wabash College Glee Club will present a joint concert with the Women's Chorus of the University of Indianapolis on Saturday, April 13, at 8:00 p.m. in the Salter Concert Hall of the Fine Arts Center at Wabash College.

Selections by the Women's Chorus include Poulenc's Ave Maria, Come to My Garden from The Secret Garden, Three Little Maids from School from The Mikado, and I Hate Men! from Kiss Me Kate. The Women's Chorus is directed by Dr. Paul Krasnovsky and accompanied by Phyllis Wickliff.

Under the direction of Dr. Richard Bowen and accompanied by Ms. Cheryl Everett, the Wabash Glee Club's program opens with Mater patris et filia, a 16th-century sacred motet, and continues with The Greenland Whale Fishery, a spirited sea chanty. The program also features the 10 man 'T-Tones' ensemble, singing the Beach Boys' popular hit, I Get Around. Other selections by the Glee Club include Can You Feel the Love Tonight from The Lion King, Send in the Clowns from A Little Night Music and The Awakening, a moving testimony to the power of music.

To conclude the concert, the Women's Chorus and the Wabash Glee Club will combine their forces to perform Mozart's Jubilate and Laudate Dominum, as well as O Sifuni Mungu, an exciting blend of African traditional and popular music.
