On Saturday, August 23, 2025, President Scott Feller hoisted Caleb Mills Bell and rang in 270 members of the Class of 2029 to the ranks of Wabash men.

Fun facts on the Class

  • Members of the Class of 2029 hail from high schools with mascots that are Thunderbolts (4), Grizzly Cubs (3), Gryphons (2), Achaean, Alice, Archangel, Chameleon, Red Rambler, Wildkit, and Zebra.
  • Five are the 3rd member of their households to attend Wabash; on is the 8th family member to attend Wabash going all the way back to the Class of 1947.
  • One is one of 6 children, and another is the youngest of 6. One has 7 siblings, and one is the oldest of 9 children.
  • This class also includes 3 twins. One pair is enrolling here while the third’s twin sister is enrolling elsewhere.
  • One is a newlywed.
  • This class includes a licensed welder, a painter, and dozens of musicians including the drummer of the band Splitrise, and one who can play 4 instruments.
  • The class boasts several vocalists as well including one classmate whose choir performed on America’s Got Talent and earned the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell.
  • One classmate has lived in 9 different states. One has traveled to more than 25 countries, and another traveled to more than 30.
  • One member endured surgeries on both knees and in his words have “pretty much iron knees.”
  • One is a cancer survivor.
  • The Class of 2029 include someone with an eidetic memory, the founder of a candy company, a Diamond 1 on Rainbow Six Siege, a black belt in judo, a cat socialization expert, a knight who does battle in medieval combat competitions, and the host of a gameshow on YouTube called ERGSTIE (Epic Reality Game Show That Involves Elimination).

Wabash Liberal Arts Immersion Program

The Wabash Liberal Arts Immersion Program (WLAIP) is designed to give exceptional students a head start on:

  • earning credits towards their Wabash degree.
  • learning about and interacting with the offices and people who can help them succeed at Wabash. 
  • understanding what makes a Wabash education rigorous, unique, and important.
  • preparing for success after they graduate from Wabash.
