Participation in performing ensembles may be included in addition to the 34 course credits required for graduation. Students are expected to participate in ensembles for a full year. Grades are assigned only on a credit/no credit basis and do not compute in the student's GPA; however, participation is noted on transcripts. Ensemble participation is required for majors and minors as detailed above. These courses may be added to a student's normal load without special permission. Students typically participate without enrolling; transcript notations are added at the end of the academic year.
