A course designed to introduce the modern concepts of the gene. The lectures stress the theory and experimental evidence relating to transmission, molecular, and developmental genetics. The laboratory is investigative in nature. Offered fall semesters.
Prerequisite: BIO 112 (This course should be taken during the sophomore year.)
