Tankers Take Fourth at NCAC Championships

Wabash moved up one place on the final day of competition to finish fourth at the annual North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.

Wabash finished with 722 points, just 21.5 points behind third-place Wooster. Kenyon won the men's competition with 1,709 points. Denison was second (1,451 points). Wittenberg took fifth (667.5), while Allegheny (583), Hiram (572), Ohio Wesleyan (475), and Oberlin (463) rounded out the team scoring.

Senior Nick Collins (Michigantown, IN/Clinton Central) led the way in Saturday's competition, finishing seventh in the 1650-meter freestyle with a time of 16:41.73. Junior Brett Findley (Bargersville, IN/Franklin Community) added a seventh-place finish in the 200 butterfly, touching in 1:59.43 after coming back from an ankle injury suffered just weeks before the competition. Diver Ben Origer (Germany) was seventh on the one-meter board, scoring 194.20 points.
