Wrestlers Fall to Chicago

The Wabash wrestling team took to the mat at Chadwick Court against the University of Chicago on Wednesday night, but the Little Giants lost a 37-9 decision.

Sophomore Chris Healy (Jasper, IN/Jasper) won his 31st match of the season at 174 pounds, taking a 15-9 victory over Dimitry Shastir of Chicago. The victory puts Healy five wins away from tying the Wabash record for individual wins in a season of 36 set by Dan Emerson '98 during the 1997-98 season. Healy is one victory away from tying the school record for single season wins at 174 pounds set by Carl Maertz '89 in the 1987-88 season.

Wabash will bring ten other teams to Chadwick Court on Saturday, February 1 at 9 a.m. for the annual Monon Bell Classic.
