Buck's Career Night Leads Wabash to 74-63 Win at Allegheny

Wabash senior Eric Buck (Indianapolis, IN/Cardinal Ritter) had career-bests in points (18), rebounds (13), and blocked shots (6) to pace the Little Giants to a 74-63 victory over Allegheny College in North Coast Athletic Conference basketball on Saturday evening.

The Wabash defense held the Gators to 25-percent shooting from the field. The Little Giants hit 30-of-60 shots from the field for 50-percent while holding Allegheny to 19-of-76 from the field, including 8-of-28 from the three-point arc.

Senior Brady Claxton (Shelbyville, IN/Shelbyville) had 11 points. Joe DesJean (Indianapolis, IN/Perry Meridian) and Ryan Short (Indianapolis, IN/Perry Meridian) each added 10 points. Sophomore David Wagner (Belleville, IL/Belleville) had six assists for Wabash. The Little Giants had 17 assists in the game, leading to their fifth consecutive win.

Wabash is 9-2, 3-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Little Giants will travel to Wooster, Ohio on Saturday afternoon to play the Fighting Scots at 2 p.m.
