A big number of Wabash College football fans will make the seven-hour drive to Alliance, Ohio for Saturday's national quarterfinal game between the Little Giants and defending national champion Mount Union College.
For those unable to attend, the Wabash College sports information office is offering a free radio broadcast that can be received any where in the country via telephone line.
Wabash is partnering with TEAMLINE, a company that captures radio signals and disseminates them through a dial-up service.
Wabash fans can listen to the entire game over the phone (or speaker phone) or just call in from time to time to pick up scores from Hot 106.3 FM WVXI's broadcast of the game. Terry Byrom, Rob Lee, Mark Maxwell, and John O will handle the broadcast duties for WVXI.
Fans should simply dial 800-846-4700 to access TEAMLINE, then enter the team code of 4468. There is no limit to the number of listeners, and the service is being provided free of charge to all alumni, parents, and fans courtesy of the public affairs office at Wabash.
Since 1990, TEAMLINE has provided live coverage of over 40,000 events annually, for over 500 college and pro sports teams, directly to consumers over any telephone in the world. Coverage includes pregame, postgame, and the live game as well. TEAMLINE broadcasts are provided to listeners FREE of charge by the Wabash Little Giants.
