Wabash Loses First Conference Tennis Match

Wabash entered Friday's match with Denison with a 1-0 record in North Coast Athletic Conference Western Division play. But Denison handed the Little Giants their first NCAC loss by a final score of 7-0.

Scott Paramoure, playing No. 2 singles, fought back after losing the first set, but could not hold on toe even the match. Paramoure lost 6-0, 6-4. Todd Wittelost the first set 6-2 at No. 6 singles before getting within a game of taking the second set. Witte eventually lost the second set 7-5.

The Little Giants (8-12) will be at home again to face Ohio Wesleyan in NCAC action on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Collett Tennis Center.

No. 1 Doubles - Neave and Newman (D) defeated Ratner and Miller (W) 8-2

Barnes and Ott (D) defeated Alexander and Paramoure (W) 8-2

No. 3 Doubles - Vincent and Mitch Regenfuss (D) defeated Witte and Altman (W) 8-4
