We will consider myths, heroes, and sacred rituals of sport, apologia and image repair, the construction of gender and race in sport, and sport's role in democracy and community. Students will complete reading assignments, presentations, and independent rhetorical criticism. Seniors should reigster for RHE-270-01SR. FR, SO and JR should register for RHE-270-01. |
