Title: Physics of Manhattan Project

Description: This course will explore the physics, history, and ongoing impacts of the development of nuclear weapons. Topics to be addressed include atomic and nuclear structure, nuclear fission, criticality, and radioactivity. Students in this course should have some knowledge of quantum mechanics and be at least familiar with differential equations. Prerequisites: PHY-210 or CHE-351.
