| Description: | FULFILLS HSP REQUIREMENT HIS 350-01: Religion in Latin America This course concerns the history of religious belief and practice in Latin America and the Caribbean from pre-Columbian times until the present. Native traditions, the introduction and reception of Catholicism, Liberation Theology, and the Rise of Protestantism will be the major themes of the course.
