| Description: | CSC 121-02: Programming in R This is a half-credit introduction to the R programming language for students who already have some programming experience. Students will build on their previous knowledge of a programming language to learn an additional language. R is widely used by statisticians, and it has stronger object-oriented programming facilities than most statistical computing languages. However, at its core, R is a functional programming language, which is very different from object-oriented languages like Java and C++.
