The Kentuckiana Association of Wabash Men met October 30 to help LifeSpring, Inc, a community-based mental health services agency located in Jeffersonville, Indiana to help LifeSpring with a beautification project.

LifeSpring moved into an 1880's era bank building in downtown Jeffersonville that had been abandoned for years. Wabash Alumni helped continue that beautification effort by planting flowers, bulbs and doing general clean-up around the grounds.

Dr. E. Ray Knight, '69, serves on the LifeSpring Board of Directors, and was happy to lend a hand. He worked with John Grannan, '97 planting mums and tulip bulbs that will help the facilities attractive in both the spring and fall. Beautiful weather helped make the work easy, and a good time was had by all.

LifeSpring, Inc. is a non-profit health services agency that serves six counties in Southern Indiana.

"LifeSpring depends on the help of those in the community to enable us to help those in need," said Jon Reiter, LifeSpring's Development Coordinator.  "We appreciate the contributions of Wabash men, who help us in our mission to provide services to lower income families in need of mental health services."  We were glad to help make their facility a bit brighter now and in the future.
