Guidelines Regarding Funds for Student Travel
Once you receive notification that your proposal was approved by the committee, then you should proceed with the following steps:
Once you receive notification that your proposal was approved by the committee, then you should proceed with the following steps:
1. Make an appointment to meet with Dr. Lon Porter (porter@wabash.edu) to discuss your airline and/or hotel reservations.
2. Once you return from your conference or complete your project, you must submit a written summary of your experience or project results to Lon Porter (porter@wabash.edu), chair of the committee. Your reimbursements will NOT be processed until this report is completed and submitted.
3. After you complete your report, you should submit your expense report and receipts, including the receipt for lodging and conference registration, to Chris Duff (duffc@wabash.edu) in Center Hall 115. If you received a travel advance, you must return any remaining cash to Chris Duff as well.
4. You will submit a proposal for either a poster or paper presentation at the following Celebration of Undergraduate Research in January.
