Wabash alumni who participated in track and field and cross country returned in big numbers for the Charlie Finch Memorial Alumni Run, which was held on Saturday. The event allows the alumni a chance to meet — and race against the men who make up the current Wabash cross country team.
And, in keeping with tradition, it was an alumnus who won the four-mile race. Geoff Lambert, an All-American at 800 meters and a 2008 Wabash graduate, won without much pressure in 21:57, but did need to finish strongly over the final 200 meters to beat Donavan White.
