Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Pathway to Your Future?

Pathway to Your Future aims to ensure that all students, regardless of background, graduate
with the necessary skills to lead thoughtful conversations and to help build more inclusive
communities. Rising sophomores and juniors in high school are given priority consideration.

Why should students attend?

Upon completion of the program and admission to the College, you will automatically be
considered for an annual $25,000 scholarship and other merit opportunities. Wabash College
ranks nationally in several categories, including Highest Earning Alumni with a median midcareer salary or $155,800, Best Professor Accessibility, Best Classroom Experience, Best
Financial Aid, and more.

When is Pathway scheduled?

The program begins on Saturday, June 22, and concludes on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Where does Pathway take place?

The program is hosted on the campus of Wabash College, conveniently situated 45 miles west
of Indianapolis (IN) and 150 miles south of Chicago (IL).

How is transportation managed?

Indiana Participants: Transportation will be provided via a College van with an approved driver
(pick-up details to be determined). Guardians may otherwise bring their son and be
reimbursed for mileage according to College policy (62.5 cents per mile).

National Participants: The College will make flight arrangements. An electronic travel itinerary
will be provided relative to your origination city. (A College-approved driver will provide direct
transportation to and from campus from the arrival city.)

How should students dress?

Dress is casual. You will be moving from place to place, participating in a variety of activities. A
swim suit is advisable.

Do students need to bring money?

Lodging and food are covered by the College, where you will stay in one of our modern
dormitories and eat in the College’s primary dining hall. Students should bring money only for
incidental purchases, like souvenirs and other items in the Wabash College bookstore.

What is the daily schedule?

A daily sample agenda can be found here. Each day is designed to combine classroom
enrichment with afternoon leadership activity and recreational fun. A trip to Indianapolis (the
state capital) is arranged.
