The new FieldTurf Duraspine Pro surface is installed and almost ready for play. Finishing touches will continue over the next few weeks at the new soccer facility at Mud Hollow Field prior to the start of the 2011 season. Photos by Brent Harris

While work was being completed on the FieldTurf, other crews installed the new seating at the soccer stadium.

The concrete pad leading from Jennison Street to the top level of the stands and restrooms was being poured on Wednesday.

The new soccer goals and nets have arrived and will be installed soon. The scoreboard and exterior fencing will be the final pieces added to complete this portion of the project.

Work also continues on the eastern portion of Mud Hollow. Sod rolls were being installed on Wednesday and should be complete in place by the end of the week.

 All of these sod rolls should be installed by the end of the day. By Friday afternoon, crews hope to have all of the sod in place on the practice fields and track and field competition areas.
